The latest Art debauchery called The-Quadfather.com.  Created by artistically-bankrupt Robert Sutherland, he challenges the viewer to look at a painting and find, not one, but four simple creations as it is turned.  How ridiculous,to add a new art category, isn’t art tough enough with abstracts and surrealism?  Anyway, a 5 year old would find the work more interesting… a developed art connoisseur who has cultured his or her tastes to enjoy realism,  impressionism and even abstract could never enjoy this crap.  Quads simply put are a gimmick to make you think there is something new under the Art Sun.  “The Quadfather”  probably can’t even paint a real picture so he has to come with this stuff.  I say, give me flowers or a well done portrait (how about a Sad Puppy) but spare me the head trip.  Don’t waste your time looking at the-quadfather.com.  If you look at it most people won’t see it anyway… it takes concentration and who has time to ponder Art these days?  On that, I couldn’t agree more.  If you do check this out, be sure and leave a comment, to tell this guy to give it up!  You’ll be helping him in the long run.
